Cross Time Frequency Analysis of Autonomic Nervous System Activity: Cohen Class Energy Distributions Applied to Signals Harvested from a Biofeedback EnvironmentJames Condron completed his PhD in 2004 in Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in the field of Biomedical Engineering with particular emphasis on Cohen Class Time Frequency Energy Distributions. James spent 2 years working in MIT Media Lab Europe, where he was appointed as a research fellow and worked as a biomedical engineer for the MindGames group. In 2005 James was appointed to a postdoctoral research position within the School of Electrical Engineering Systems in DIT. Since then he has further developed algorithms in the field of biomedical engineering as well as supervising postgraduate research. He is currently manager of the DIT's bio-potential research facility, where the main focus is the classification of electroencephalograms to facilitate communication by people with degenerative illnesses. He is a founding member of the TeaPOT research group, which focuses on people oriented technologies ( http://teapot.dit.ie ). The group has affiliations with Enable Ireland Dublin as well as a number other Irish universities.
