The plug installs easily by removing the slide and barrel or BCG for a rifle according to the weapon manufacturer's instructions. NOTE: The weapon must be unloaded and clear of any ammunition prior to starting this process. Insert the barrel blocking safety plug for your weapon and reassemble. NOTE: It is critical to lubricate your barrel plug PRIOR to inserting it through the chamber of your rifle. Lubricate the shaft and chamber block then reassemble and function check for good measure.
