American Educational Physical Properties Collection

The American Educational 2341 physical properties collection is used for geological study, and has 30 specimens for illustrating hardness, luster, and cleavage properties in minerals. The 2341 is number-coded and includes a key sheet for identification. The collection has a compartmented tray for display and storage, with specimens that measure approximately 1” (L). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right.) Specimens in this collection may vary, based on availability at the time the product is packaged. The collection has student activities with testing tools, including streak and glass plates, nail, penny, and magnifier, for hands-on learning, and is suitable for grades 6 to 12 and ages 11 to 18.
