A day flowering morning glory, the Alamo Vine is a perennial twining vine that produces 2" white flowers with a purplish throat from spring to fall. The flowers open in the morning above the palmately lobed, dark green. Produces a sweet potato-like tap-root from which it regrows each year in zones 8 and warmer Native or not?
