HOW Do Supplements Help Osteoarthritis?
The following publications have reported how supplements (like the supplements in our Natural Remedy for Joint Pain and Stiffness: Exomine) help with joint pain:
A randomized double blind placebo controlled crossover study was conducted to assess the efficacy, safety and tolerability of Boswellia serrata Extract (BSE) in 30 patients of arthritis of the knee, 15 each receiving active drug or placebo for eight weeks.
All patients receiving treatment reported decrease in knee pain, increased knee flexion and increased walking distance. The frequency of swelling in the knee joint was decreased.
BSE is recommended in the patients of osteoarthritis of the knee with possible therapeutic use in other arthritis.
Forty-five patients with osteoarthritis of the knee were recruited, 30 were treated with freeze-dried U guianensis (cats claw), and 15 with placebo.
Pain associated with activity, medical and patient assessment scores were all significantly reduced, with benefits occurring within the first week of therapy.
CONCLUSION: Cat's claw is an effective treatment for osteoarthritis.
Glucosamine is a natural compound that is found in healthy cartilage. Glucosamine sulfate is a normal constituent of glycoaminoglycans in cartilage matrix and synovial fluid.
Available evidence from randomized controlled trials supports the use of glucosamine sulfate in the treatment of osteoarthritis, particularly of the knee. [Full Article]
MSM is important in joint health and helps form connective tissue (cartilage, tendons, and ligaments).
A recent clinical study published in The FASEB Journal confirms that sternal hydrolyzed collagen type II with Hyaluronic Acid (HA), derived from BioCell Collagen II, is safe and effective in relieving pain and stiffness from osteoarthritis and encourages overall joint health in adults.
WHO is at Risk for Arthritis?
Arthritis at a Glance
Osteoarthritis, also known as degenerative joint disease, is the most common of all known joint conditions.
It is characterized by the breakdown of joint cartilage over time. In persons without this condition, healthy cartilage allows bones to glide over one another without interference.
Conversely, individuals with osteoarthritis are marked by deteriorations in the top layer of cartilage, causing a break down and wearing away of this precious tissue. Additionally, this disease may cause the affected joint(s) to lose its shape.
Osteoarthritis can affect any joint in the body, but primarily targets the most commonly used joints or those most affected by gravity. These areas include the fingers, hips, knees, lower back, and feet.
Causes of Arthritis
The cause of osteoarthritis is still not known.
Researchers suspect that a number of factors are at play, including:
The normal aging process
Being overweight or obese
Signs & Symptoms
Joint soreness after periods of overuse or inactivity.
Stiffness after periods of rest that goes away quickly when activity resumes.
Morning stiffness, usually lasting no more than ½ hour.
Pain caused by the weakening of muscles surrounding the joint due to inactivity.
Joint pain is usually less in the morning and worse in the evening after a normal daily activity.
Deterioration of coordination, posture, and walking caused by pain and stiffness.
Are You At Risk?
Osteoarthritis exists as one of the most prevalent causes of disability, in the world!
In America, it is estimated that 21 million adults currently suffer from this condition. Listed below are the most widely accepted risk factors for disease onset:
Age: Before the age of 45, men are more likely to develop arthritis. After, 55 females are far more likely to suffer from arthritis, and currently account for the majority of diagnosed cases.
Race: The Japanese populous has a higher incidence of osteoporosis, while South African blacks, East Indians, and Southern Chinese have the lowest occurrence of this condition. In the USA, ALL races are equally affected.
Activity: Being physically inactive dramatically increases your chance for developing arthritis. In fact, experts believe that physical inactivity can be as detrimental to your joints as overuse. Underused joints are more susceptible to injury, range-of-motion problems, and diseases like osteoarthritis.
Repetition: Persons with occupations that call for the repetitive overuse of joint structures, like manual laborers, are at a far greater risk for developing osteoarthritis. Overuse of joints results in damage to cartilage.
Genetics: Some experts believe that osteoarthritis is a disorder caused by a genetic susceptibility for joint deterioration.
WHAT Can Help?
Conventional Treatments
Other than losing weight and avoiding tasks that exert too much stress upon the joints, there is no specific treatment to stop cartilage degeneration or to repair damaged cartilage in osteoarthritis patients.
Most conventional treatments do not treat arthritis at all, yet aim to manage the many adverse symptoms and halt arthritis progression.
However, there are universal elements to conventional treatment attempts and includes; exercise, weight control, joint protection, medications, and physical and occupational therapies.
Many sufferers will resort to medications to ease the symptoms of the disease. However, the administration of such drugs is often accompanied with unwanted side effects. In fact, a popular classification of arthritis drugs, known as cox-2 inhibitors, has undergone much scrutiny within the last decade.
Other popular drugs used for the management of pain and discomfort of osteoarthritis include; analgesics, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDs), glucocorticoids, corticosteroids, and viscosupplements
Exomine - A Natural Remedy to Reduce Joint Pain & Stiffness
Exomine has been formulated with ingredients backed by science, to provide you with a natural means to combat osteoarthritis without unwanted and adverse side effects.
Progressive Health has employed the beneficial properties of nutrients found in healthy human cartilage, as well as those deemed successful at managing arthritis in multiple clinical trials.
Additionally, Exomine’s revolutionary ingredient list has been shown to preserve and even enhance cartilage integrity.
Here are some of the ingredients inside Exomine:
All patients receiving a Boswellia remedy reported decrease in knee pain, increased knee flexion and increased walking distance.
The frequency of swelling in the knee joint was decreased.
BSE is recommended in the patients of osteoarthritis of the knee with possible therapeutic use in other arthritis.
Glucosamine HCI- The clinical benefits of glucosamine remedies in the treatment of osteoarthritis are impressive.
252 patients with osteoarthritis of the knee were given placebo or 1500mg of glucosamine every day.
The results showed that a glucosamine remedy can reduce pain and inflammation from osteoarthritis. The longer it was used, the more apparent the benefits were.
Biocell II & Hyaluronic Acid
The greatest concentrations of this acid are found in joints and used as lubrication.
As you age, less hylaronic acid is produced, which results in stiff joints. Using a remedy that includes this protein will help lubricate stiff joints.
MSM (Methylsulfonyl Methane)
This is a natural form of dietary sulfur and has been used as a remedy to reduce or eliminate arthritis pain.
MSM has been found to be helpful for many conditions, including arthritis.

After two knee surgeries, one broken arm and a ruptured Achilles tendon, I've been left with all kinds of joint aches and pains.
I've been using this arthritis remedy, Exomine, for the past two years through the course of my injuries and today virtually all my aches and soreness is gone.
Exomine has given me back the ability to compete in athletics and train at a high level without being hindered by aches and pains.
That stuff really works, so thanks!

I have been taking different glucosamine/chondroitin products, along with Tylenol Arthritis, for osteoarthritis in my fingers. After taking Exomine for 2 weeks, my arthritis pain was gone. I decided to stop taking the Tylenol, and I am still totally pain-free! I am so glad I tried this remedy. I've just placed my refill order!
- Barbara Magram
I can't emphasize enough how much your product Exomine has relieved my pain and swelling due to Osteoarthritis. The difference between walking with a walker...and now without one. Very happy with this remedy.

"I began taking Exomine five months ago. This is my first order ever. My gosh, my elbows and shoulders are not sore anymore. My arthritis seems to be under control now. I am a 72 year old woman. I love this remedy, now if I could just get my stubborn husband to try it, I think he would be able to move around more."
