 Black & Decker's Thermal Leak Detector can help you discover where the energy leaks are in your home. Identify problem areas around drafty windows and doors, and uncover hidden leaks and insulation "soft spots" around electrical outlets, recessed lights, and along floor molding.

To use, direct the detector's infrared light at a wall to establish the reference temperature. Move the infrared light along surfaces in your house, and when the measured surface temperature deviates by 1, 5 or 10 degrees Fahrenheit (user adjustable) relative to the reference temperature, the light will change to red or blue to indicate a hot or cold spot.
