Wet-Stop3 is convenient as well as effective. The Wet-Stop3 buzzer reacts immediately to the first few drops of moisture, teaching the child to stop the flow of urine before the bed becomes wet. During this learning process, dry underpants will be needed but the family will be spared the bother of remaking the entire bed. In less than six months, many children will no longer require use of the Wet-Stop3.
Alarm Systems Work!
Alarm systems are the most effective method for achieving nighttime dryness. A study at the Mayo Clinic comparing alarms, imipramine, and a nasal antidiuretic hormone demonstrated the clear superiority of alarm systems. A final tally of 261 children followed for one year showed the cure rate illustrated below:
Cure Rate for 12 months

*Alarms used during the test included the Wet-Stop and the Sears Wee Alert

Bedwetting and Bedwetting Alarms
You Are Not Alone
Bedwetting is also called nocturnal enuresis. It is experienced by tens of millions of children worldwide. Nearly 1 out of 4 five-year olds, 1 out of 5 seven-year olds, and 1 out of 20 children over the age of 10 have bedwetting problems.
Time to Take Action
Because millions of children have daytime urine control and still bed wet (nocturnal enuresis) it is a very common a concern for parents and it can adversely affect the child's self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, quality of life, academic pursuits, and simple childhood activities (camps, sleepovers, etc.). Most children will stop bed wetting after turning four or five, but it is really never too early to start helping a child master the skills of nighttime control. If your child is bed wetting the time for action may be now. Certainly you can wait to see if the nighttime accidents decrease over time, since most children will eventually outgrow the problem. However, it is very difficult to predict when your child will master the art of nighttime urine control. PottyMD has excellent programs and ideas for overcoming bedwetting in children and adults.
