This is smart combo alarm is suitable for all living areas. It has a voice warning system that will eliminate confusion, by telling you if it has detected smoke, carbon monoxide, or if the batteries need replacing. In a fire, the voice system will announce "Fire! Fire!", accompanied by an 85 decibel alarm. For smoke detection it relies on a permanent state of the art ionization sensor.

When carbon monoxide is detected, the voice will announce "Warning! Carbon Monoxide!", accompanied by an 85 decibel alarm when the carbon monoxide level becomes dangerous. It also has peak level memory, which will alert you if carbon monoxide levels exceed 100 parts per million (ppm) while you were away.

This alarm is the hard-wired model, can be interconected with up to 24 other units, and has a battery backup in the event of a power outage. When the battery is low, the voice warning will state "low battery" accompanied by a blinking light.

The alarm also features a test/reset button and a carbon monoxide sensor that does not require periodic replacement.
