Magnetek Photovoltaic Inverter

This Magnetek Aurora photovoltaic inverter provide optimal energy harvesting from two independent photovoltaic arrays. It has an operating window of 90 to 530 volts, and can optimize two arrays with different orientations, tilt angles or numbers of series modules.

This inverter has a sealed aluminum NEMA 4 (IP65) ruggedized case, to withstand the harshest environmental conditions. The front heat sink keeps the unit cleaner and more efficient over time, though locating the inverter in a shaded, well-ventilated area can be beneficial. It has high speed MPPT (Max Power Point Tracker) for real time power tracking and improved energy harvesting, will deliver true Sine Wave output, and has anti-islanding protection. It is configurable to deliver either 208 volt AC or 240 volt AC output.

There is an LCD display on the front to monitor the main parameters, with an integrated RS485 serial link, and an integrated Power Line Modem (PLM) for communication over AC wires, using algorithms developed by Magnetek that ensure flawless communications over disturbed AC lines where other inverters usually won’t be able to communicate.
