Item description

Dr. Carol's Hip & Joint Support for Dogs

60 Flavored Chewable Tablets

Dr. Carol’s Hip & Joint Support for Dogs was specially developed by Dr. Carol to provide a unique, synergistic combination of natural nutrients designed to enhance the rebuilding of joints and connective tissue to help dogs remain active, pain free and mobile.

Dr. Carol’s Hip & Joint Support contains Glucosamine, Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM), and Green Lipped Mussel, (a natural source of Chondroitan Sulfate), Hyaluronic Acid, rich sources of glycosaminoglycans, natural chelated minerals, enzymes and polypeptides.  These nutrients support joint function and connective tissue health and are formulated as a tasty, chewable liver flavored tablet for dogs given according to body weight.

Arthritis, which is also called degenerative joint disease, is defined as inflammation of the joints. Recent research indicates radiographic signs of arthritis are apparent in 95% of dogs at age two, and 99% of people at age 35, regardless of whether or not visible signs are apparent. One out of every five dogs or twenty percent of all dogs two years of age and older are afflicted.

Sign of Arthritis in Dogs

Signs of arthritis in dogs include limping, lameness, decreased activity, stiffness, reluctance to stand, climb stairs, run and jump.

Although arthritis is more common in large dogs, small dogs and cats also suffer. Arthritis is a painful, progressive condition that destroys the cartilage and connective tissue, which normally act as a cushion and absorb shock between bones and joints.

Medical management, weight control and moderate exercise allow many pets to live a relatively pain free life. Medical management traditionally consisted of anti-inflammatory drugs and steroids, which are effective to relieve pain but carry serious side effects. New, natural remedies have proven to offer similar benefits without the risks. Moderate exercise helps maintain joint mobility and muscle strength for joint support. Weight control helps reduce the burden of excess soft tissue the joints must support.

Provides Safe and Effective Relief for Arthritis Pain

Dr. Carol's Hip & Joint Support for Dogs is made to be given along with VitaLife for pets that need additional relief from advanced arthritic pain. Together these products help to minimize arthritis pain and inflammation while increasing joint lubrication and flexibility and enhancing the joints ability to absorb shock. They provide pets with a safe, effective, alternative solution to strong, potentially toxic prescription drugs including Rimadyl, Deramax, Prednisolone and Ectogesic.

Because age, breed, diet, lifestyle, injury and stress can affect the health and function of joints in different ways, Dr. Carol’s products are specifically designed to meet the various needs of your pet throughout his or her life stages. Correct and consistent administration is essential for optimum results. Your pets will love the taste, you’ll love the ease and you’ll both enjoy the great results!
