Creator of Doctor Bobby's Skin Caring for Kids

A pediatric dermatologist and New York City native, Dr. Robert L. Buka, a.k.a., Dr. Bobby, is changing the landscape of children's skincare with his new line of allergen-free products, Doctor Bobby's Skin Caring for Kids. After hearing countless patients complain about products that were too sticky, too goopy or just not fun, Dr. Bobby realized his mission: to create a super gentle, kid-friendly and irritant-free skincare line just for children.

After two years of developing the product in a laboratory to ensure everything was dermatologist-tested, effective and truly allergen-free, Dr. Bobby and co-founder, Heidi Albert, completed a skincare system that is transforming the industry and making good hygiene fun for kids.

Dr. Bobby earned his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago. He then completed a dermatology residency and pediatric dermatology fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. He currently lives in New York and practices pediatric dermatology in Paramus, New Jersey.

Throughout his career, Dr. Bobby has treated countless allergic and irritant reactions to various fragrances, preservatives, harsh soaps and dyes. These reactions can compromise the skin's natural protection against bacteria and viruses. The result is an itchy, infected child who may take weeks to heal, further motivating Dr. Bobby to strip away the fragrances and preservatives in his own product line.

Dr. Bobby's research interests include biologic therapy, allergic skin reactions and acne vulgaris. He is one of the few pediatric dermatologists in the country who uses lasers for vascular lesions.

When he's not busy treating patients, Dr. Bobby likes to travel, surf and backpack in the Catskill Mountains.
